#4   Water, water everywhere… we are now at Step 84, the diameter of a water molecule.


What makes water such a key to life?
Two parts Hyrdogen and one part Oxygen. H2O.

The most important thing on earth and certainly the most abundant.

Observations: The diameter of a water molecule is about 280± picometers. The multiple of the Planck Length is exactly at 312.618528 picometers which is also .3126+ nanometers or 3.126+x10-10 meters.

Step 84

Analysis: Taken that each notation has a range, consider the three notations in a row. 83, 84, and 85. The exact multiple of the Planck Length at Step 83 is 156+ picometers. Step 84 is 312+ picometers. An step 85 is 625+ picometers. So, the range for Step 84 is from 234.4+ picometers to 468.9+ picometers. We are just a bit larger than everything in the Periodic Table of Elements. Yet, within this notation two parts hydrogen bonded with one part oxygen is magical. How does it happen? Can we re-envision the code?

Perhaps fractal geometries could give us some clues. In what ways could periodicity be a key?

We have been multiplying and dividing by 2. That put the sperm and the egg right in the middle. What happens if we divide the chart in thirds? What do we find? First, this division has definitive, historic designations. In many disciplines it is called the Small Scale, the Human Scale and the Large Scale. To study it more closely we make two calculations. The total notations are a range between 202.34 and 206. So the division results in a range, first from 1 to 67-68 for the Small Scale, from 68-69 to 134-138 (for the Human Scale, and from 136-138 to 202-206 for the Large Scale. Those results are not quite the classic definitions, so we have a ways to go to get to a deep level of understanding. This exploration has just begun and we have a lot of work to do.
